The Mane Event “Million Dollar Block Party,” sponsored by the Arlington Heights Special Events Commission and Arlington Park Racetrack, is an-end-of-Summer community street festival on Friday, August 20, 2010 that celebrates Arlington Park’s showcase race, the “Arlington Million” that will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2010.
There are a million ways to celebrate Mane event on Friday, August 20 -- including:
• A Business Expo organized by the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce that will showcase many area businesses and organizations as well as great food from local restaurants!
• Pony Rides, Jump House, balloon twisters, a magician, juggler and the Pony Racer game on Campbell Street for the kids.
• 6:30 p.m. Metropolis Rock Band
• 8 p.m. Hi-Infidelity, a cover band playing the music of Journey, REO Speedwagon, Bon Jovi, STYX, and Survivor, Keith Urban, Joe Cocker and much more!Don’t miss out on this great time. Bring your lawn chairs and save a seat for the featured concerts at Harmony Park on Friday, August 20 2010.

Come back to Campbell Street and Vail Avenue Saturday evening for the Taste of Arlington Heights on Saturday, August 21, 2010 from 5-11p.m.
Besides food from nearly 25 local restaurants, the Taste of Arlington Heights features music at 6:45 p.m. by Exit 147 and the 8 p.m. headliner group is ARRA!
