specific article of a blog --
good for finding after the
article is push off the front
page (archived).
Plog is a project
blog.
Podcast is a radio-like
broadcast using MP3 files. Audio
narratives or on-scene reports
are made available on-line so
that they can be downloaded and
heard on an MP3 player (can be
heard on computer, as well).
Podcasting derives its name from
the Apple iPod MP3 player.
Progblog is a 'progressive
weblog' of left wing political
views.
RSS is a web content
syndication format, which stands
for (variously) RDF Site Summary,
Rich Site Summary, or Really
Simple Syndication.
RTWT means Read The Whole
Thing.
Vog is a video blog.
Weblog is a series of
on-line writings characterized in
format by a single column of text
in reverse chronological order.
There exists the ability to link
to individual articles and search
text in articles. One or two
context-related columns are
usually posted on either side.
